Happily Ever After

Last month, my daughter, Bri, married my now son-in-law, Ryan, at the most beautiful venue in Escondido, California. It was such an incredible weekend surrounded by friends, family and love for this couple. As we wrap up 2021, I wanted to share some beautiful memories from that special day with you.

Getting the Day Started
The morning of the wedding started out bright and early by meeting in the bridal suite to get ready and have breakfast. By 11:00, we left the suite to arrive at the venue and finish getting ready. Bri looked so beautiful and her hair and makeup turned out exactly how she wanted it to. As her mom, it was fun watching her get ready with her bridesmaids, dance around and just enjoy the morning.

The Ceremony
My favorite part of the day had to be the wedding ceremony. It took place outside, and the love between Bri and Ryan was palpable. The vows they prepared for one another were so sweet and kind. Watching my husband, Steve, walk Bri down the aisle and having my son, Brandon, perform the ceremony made it all the more special. Plus, the weather was absolutely perfect – a beautiful sunny California day!

The Reception
Once the ceremony wrapped up, we made our way over to the outdoor reception. Space heaters kept us warm, while lovely speeches and dancing kept us entertained. It was so much fun and such a great way to end a beautiful weekend!

A Final Toast
Looking back, I’m just so happy the wedding went exactly how Bri envisioned her big day to go. It really was such a magical day; you could literally feel the love between the two of them.

This is just one of the many things I’m grateful for this year. Reflecting back on 2021 as a whole, I am thankful for good health and that everyone who attended the wedding remained healthy afterward as well. I’m also grateful to have such an amazing family – and to add Ryan and his family to our bunch!

Last but not least, I am thankful for our wonderful clients and staff who make Elite Court Reporting what it is today! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
